Oslo Buddhist Center is located on Grünerløkka and functions as an oasis for Buddhism and meditation. The center offers weekly drop-in meditations that focus on breath and loving-kindness. These meditations are open to everyone, regardless of religion or belief, and give participants the opportunity to explore the mind and the experience of the world.
In addition to the meditations, the center organizes Thursday evenings with various courses and open evenings. After the meditations, there is an opportunity to socialize over tea or coffee, which promotes community among the participants. Participation in the meditations is donation-based, making it accessible to a wider group of people.
