Paul's Church is a long church that was inaugurated in 1892, designed by the architect Henrik Bull. The church is characterized by German Gothic style, with a characteristic tall and narrow tower that contributes to its distinctive character. It has a capacity of approximately 500 people and combines a traditional long axis with a central church space, which gives an intimate feel and a festive feeling.
The altarpiece in the church is made of brown-stained pine and has a gilded decoration with a three-part structure. There have been several improvements to the building, including in 1917-18 and 1972, which have contributed to preserving the church's condition and functionality. Paul's Church is an important cultural and religious landmark in Oslo.
