Røa Church is a Lutheran church that offers a varied program for both young people and adults. Every other Friday evenings are arranged with an open house and hangout for young people, which provides a social meeting place. The church also has a focus on confirmation, with a welcome to new confirmands, as well as an offer of baby singing and children's singing for the youngest.
In addition to the regular activities, Røa Church marks special occasions, such as the anniversary celebration of Sørkedalen Church, which has been in operation for 160 years. The congregation emphasizes the inclusion of Sami church life, and offers family trips to the Nordmarkkapellet. Premises in the church are available for hire for various events, which contributes to an active community.
