Erik-Andre Hvidsten is celebrating his 20th anniversary with a number of activities, including a Christmas tour in both Finland and Norway. In connection with the anniversary, he has released a new CD entitled "A Nordic Christmas", which contains beautiful Nordic Christmas songs. Among the well-known Christmas songs on the album are classics such as "Jul, jul, straalande jul" and "O helga night".
The tour will be accompanied by the Broadcasting Orchestra (KORK), which gives the concerts an extra dimension. The CD also includes a newly written Christmas carol with lyrics by Hvidsten, as well as "Childhood Christmas", which depicts personal memories from his upbringing. Hvidsten is recognized as a cultural bearer of Nordic music and lyrics, and his work contributes to promoting this musical tradition.
