Charlotte Augusta Sommerfelt Høy is an artist based in Oslo, known for her work with mixed techniques, especially on cotton paper. She uses various media such as pencil, charcoal, pastel chalk and Digital Graphic Art. Her pictorial expression is characterized as naive, expressive and narrative, which gives the works a unique visual narrative.
Before she became an artist, Sommerfelt Høy worked as a physiotherapist with a focus on psychosomatics. She is also a certified coach in art and expression pedagogic methods, which may influence her approach to art and teaching. She debuted with an exhibition in 1995, and her work has since been publicly purchased. She has studied at the Oslo School of Drawing and Painting, where she had Magne Austad as a teacher.
