Marte Røyeng is a composer and songwriter from Oslo who works within several musical genres, including pop, folk music and dubstep. She has been involved in various musical projects and collaborates with her brother, Jonas Røyeng, as producer. Røyeng has also participated in "sound puppetry" performances with the Sono Figures Society, where she combines music with visual elements.
She has released the album "det flyvende inni meg" in collaboration with Siril Malmedal Hauge, and premiered the play "Efungelium Tristi" in Copenhagen. In addition, she has performed a walking concert performance in Grorudparken and participated in the Copenhagen Jazz Festival, which shows her involvement in both local and international musical contexts. Røyeng's work spans several fields, including contemporary music, popular music, theater and dance.
