Røa Storband was founded in 1974 and since then has been an active participant in music life in the Oslo area. The band performs a number of dance jobs, club jobs and concerts, and has a varied repertoire that includes music by well-known composers such as Helge Sunde and Jens Wendelboe. Røa Storband is known for creating an atmosphere filled with great experiences, both for heart and mind.
In addition to regular concerts, the band organizes special project concerts, such as "Suite Seasonings". This gives the audience the opportunity to experience unique musical performances with the big band's characteristic sound. Røa Storband also collaborates with local actors to develop memorable events, which contributes to a rich and varied musical offer in the region.
