Fotografiens Hus is an art gallery that has been an arena for Norwegian contemporary photography since 1999. Located in Kvadraturen in Oslo, the gallery shows between 8 and 12 exhibitions annually, with a focus on both established and newly established photographers. The exhibitions deal with various themes, including the relationship between nature, people and technology, and illuminate photography as both an artistic expression and a subject.
In addition to the exhibitions, Fotografiens Hus functions as a common house for photographers, where activities such as Open Call and finnisage events are organised. The gallery is open to the public, and aims to promote understanding and interest in contemporary photography in Norway.
