GALLERY PUSHWAGNER is an art gallery that honors the work of the renowned contemporary artist Pushwagner, whose real name is Terje Brofos. Born in Oslo in 1940, he has achieved international recognition for his unique artworks, especially after success at biennales in Berlin and Sydney. His work is characterized by a distinctive style and subject matter that often addresses issues related to society.
Among his most famous works is "Jobkill", which is considered one of the most comprehensive and detailed works of art in his career. This work is part of the National Museum's collection. The gallery also has a special Pushwagner obelisk, where his artwork is carved and carved into the spire. Pushwagner was honored with the prize for best exhibitor at the Autumn Exhibition in 2008, which further confirms his importance within Norwegian contemporary art.
