The Norwegian Sculpture Association is an interest organization for artists who work with three-dimensional art. The association runs the Skulpturkontoret and the exhibition project Skulpturarena öst, which aims to promote and disseminate sculpture and other three-dimensional art. One of the most important activities is the Norwegian Sculpture Biennale, which is Norway's largest exhibition for this art form.
The association offers both public and private exhibitions, as well as competitions, and focuses on safeguarding the professional interests of its members. In addition to changing exhibitions and projects, seminars are organized at Carl Berner subway station, where there is also a sculpture park. The park is accessible around the clock and displays contemporary art in the form of sculptures. Children's education and sculpture workshops are also offered, which give younger visitors the opportunity to get involved in art.
