Bølgen, also known as Bylgja or the Mermaid Fountain, is a sculpture created by the Norwegian artist Anders Svor. The work is located on Olaf Bull's plass in Skillebekk, Oslo, and is part of the city's public art collection. Anders Svor, who died in 1929, is known for his contributions to Norwegian sculpture, and Bølgen is one of his best-known works.
The sculpture is now in the public domain, and the copyright has expired, making it possible to use the work under the terms of Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 International. The wave has become a well-known landmark in the area and attracts both locals and visitors.
