The Norwegian Radio History Association was founded in 1979 and functions as a non-profit association for people with an interest in radio history. The association's aim is to register and preserve old radio equipment, and it focuses in particular on historical interest related to transmitter and receiver equipment, as well as Hi-Fi and audio equipment.
The association publishes a member magazine four times a year, which provides information and updates on activities and news within radio engineering and technology history. Members have the opportunity to participate in closed auctions that are held 1-2 times a year. The Norwegian Radio History Association is open to anyone who shares an interest in radio engineering, and offers membership benefits as well as access to specific information pages for members.
