Sinnataggen is a famous sculpture by Gustav Vigeland, which is located in Vigeland Parken, part of Frognerparken in Oslo. This park is known for housing over 200 sculptures made by Vigeland, executed in materials such as granite, bronze and wrought iron. Vigeland Park is considered Vigeland's life's work, and work on the park was carried out between 1924 and 1943.
The park's starting point is Vigelands Fontene, which was originally planned for Eidsvoll Plass. Among the central elements in the park you will also find the Monolith, a tall sculpture made from a single stone block, as well as a sculpture-rich bridge that connects different parts of the park. With its unique combination of art and nature, the park attracts locals and tourists alike, and is always open to visitors.
