The sculpture "Clown" by Tone Thiis Schjetne is located in Grønlands Torg in Oslo. Thiis Schjetne is a Norwegian sculptor known for his public decorative works, which include projects at Nidaros Cathedral and Vadsø Church. She has also participated in a number of national and international exhibitions, and has been represented at the Autumn Exhibition several times.
As a recognized artist, five of her sculptures have been purchased by the National Museum. She has an artistic background from the Art School in Trondheim and the Norwegian Academy of Fine Arts in Oslo, as well as experience from hosting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. Thiis Schjetne is the daughter of architect Helge Thiis and painter Greta Swenborg, which may have influenced her artistic development.
