The Wheel Of Life is a sculpture park that houses over 200 sculptures by the renowned Norwegian artist Gustav Vigeland. The park, which is Vigeland's life's work, was built between 1924 and 1943 and is located in Frognerparken in Oslo. It contains several famous elements, including the Monolith, the Fountain and the Bridge, all of which contribute to the park's unique character. The monolith, which is one of the park's most iconic sculptures, as well as the sculpture-rich bridge, became part of the park's expansion in 1924.
The fountain, which was originally planned to be located in front of the Storting, is another central part of the park. The Wheel Of Life offers a unique combination of art and nature, and is always open to visitors. The sculpture park is a popular departure point for both locals and tourists, and provides an opportunity to experience Vigeland's artwork in a scenic setting.
