The Foundation Study Home for Young Girls is a student housing offer that houses female students aged 18 to 32. The center has 70 rooms and offers a varied environment with residents from different fields of study. The housing estate, which dates from the end of the 19th century, provides a historical framework for student life. The location near St. Hanshaugen park provides opportunities for recreation and outdoor activities.
The common areas include a party room, TV room, garden and library, which promote social interaction and community among the residents. Cultural evenings are organized for sharing experiences and building relationships, which contributes to an inclusive environment. The residents are active in creating social events, which strengthens the sense of community. In addition, there is a short distance to public transport, cafés and shops, which makes it convenient for students. The center celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2016, marking a long tradition in student accommodation.
