Vertikal Nydalen is an architectural signal building designed by the renowned architectural firm Snøhetta. The building extends over 18 floors and offers spectacular views of the surroundings. It is located in a central area that promotes good meeting places and a vibrant urban environment.
The focus on sustainability and environmental technology is central to Vertikal Nydalen. The building aims to achieve energy use close to zero and has reduced CO2 emissions by 50%. It is environmentally certified according to BREEAM NOR, with ambitions to achieve the level Excellent. In addition, it functions as a pilot building in the LowEx research project, which investigates innovative solutions for energy use and sustainability in the construction industry.
