Aramso Kebab was established by Faraj Asmaro in 1983, and since then has been a significant player in the wholesale kebab market in Norway. With an original recipe from the Middle East, Aramso Kebab has built up a reputation for high quality, and has become a classic in the Norwegian fast food market. Faraj Asmaro, known as the kebab king, has played a central role in the popularization of kebabs in Norway, and his recipe has been the subject of many attempts to copy, but without success.
The company offers kebabs in various sizes to wholesalers, and has a loyal customer base that stretches across the whole of Eastern Norway. In 1986, Asmaro began sharing his knowledge of kebab preparation with fast food owners in Oslo, and he also sold kebab grills to support them in production. Aramso Kebab has thus not only contributed to shaping the kebab culture in Norway, but has also helped to develop an entire industry around this popular dish.
