Journal of the Norwegian Medical Association, also known as Tidsskrift for Den norske legeforening, is a medical journal established in 1881. The journal functions both as a scientific forum and as a member's magazine for Den norske legeforening. Eighteen issues are published annually, with articles first becoming available online before the paper edition is distributed to doctors, medical students, libraries, hospitals and institutions. As of August 2019, the journal had a circulation of 32,520.

The journal has a particular focus on general medicine and the GP scheme, and offers guidance and support to doctors in various positions. It publishes the latest science and commentary in health, and works for equal treatment in all health regions. In addition, the journal addresses topics such as the user-friendliness of patient records and discusses the health enterprise model as well as variations in LIS guidance and treatment options. All content is openly available online, and the journal annually receives approx. 1,500 scripts.
