The Center for Studies of the Holocaust and Religious Minorities, also known as the HL centre, is a Norwegian research and dissemination center that focuses on the Holocaust, genocide and minority views. The center offers extensive research and documentation, as well as exhibitions that shed light on the fate of Jews and Roma during the Second World War. There is also a focus on everyday racism and extremism, which are relevant topics in today's society.
The center has a historic bunker from the war, which is linked to Vidkun Quisling, and offers teaching services for educational institutions and groups. In addition, there are digital teaching materials available for those who want to learn more about the subjects covered by the centre. Events and lectures are held regularly, and the center acts as an important platform for discussion and reflection on the topics of anti-Semitism and minority views.
The HL center also includes a café, Kafé Villa Grande, which has opening hours adapted to the centre's visitors. The center is open all year, with the exception of certain days, and facilitates both research and the public dissemination of knowledge on important historical and social topics.
