Hummingbird Music Academy is a music school that offers private lessons for both children and adults. The school has a varied range of courses which includes lessons in piano, singing, guitar, violin, cello, accordion, clarinet and music theory. With a focus on quality and creativity in teaching, the experienced music educators adapt the courses to each individual student's needs and skill level. The target group ranges from 4 to 18 years old, as well as adults who want to learn on a hobby basis.
In addition to individual lessons, Hummingbird Music Academy also combines group lessons to promote collaboration and social interaction among students. The school organizes music games for the youngest as preparation for individual lessons, as well as summer courses and concerts to give students the opportunity to show off their skills. Since its inception in 2010, the school has had over 1,000 students and offers classes at several locations in central Oslo, including Bislett, Majorstua, Vika and Aker Brygge.
