Hummingbird Music Academy Bislett is a music school that offers private lessons for both children and adults. The school has a varied range of courses which includes lessons in piano, singing, guitar, violin, cello, accordion, clarinet and music theory. The target group ranges from 4 years and upwards, and the teaching is adapted to the individual pupil's needs and skill level. Music games for young children are also offered as preparation for individual lessons.
The school was established in 2010 and since then has had over 1,000 students. The teaching is led by professional music educators with extensive experience, who emphasize quality, creativity and the student's progression. Hummingbird Music Academy combines individual and group lessons, and offers summer courses for those interested. In addition, concerts and talent programs are arranged, and teaching takes place at several locations in central Oslo, including Bislett, Majorstua, Vika and Aker Brygge.
