Havnepromenade in Oslo is a 9 kilometer long continuous promenade that stretches from Frognerkilen in the west to Alna's outlet in the east. The project, which has been under development since 2008, is scheduled to be completed in 2030. During this period, temporary solutions will be established to enable the early realization of parts of the promenade.
The promenade is designed for both pedestrians and cyclists, and aims to create a better connection between the city and the fjord. Emphasis is placed on sustainable urban development and accessibility, which should promote recreation and social activities. The harbor promenade is part of Oslo's overall urban development strategy, and will contribute to strengthening the city's identity and quality of life.
