Jobben Oslo - Salvation Army Drug Care is a work training offer aimed at former or active drug addicts over 18 years of age. The center focuses on creating community and belonging, and offers participants opportunities for meaningful days and lasting drug freedom. Through varied work tasks adapted to individual interests and daily schedule, the participants get the opportunity to experience mastery and positive experiences.
The activities on offer range from street cleaning and archipelago service to a furniture and carpentry workshop, redesign of reusable items, as well as beekeeping and firewood production. In addition, breakfast and lunch are served to the participants, and incentive money is offered as additional support. The center also contributes to society's community through tax and work effort, and many who participate report a reduced need for drugs and an increased quality of life.
