Kristne Arbeidere is an interdenominational organization that has its origins in the labor movement. It was founded in 1939 as Norges Kristne Arbeideres Forbund, but changed its name to Kristne Arbeidere in 2004. The organization is based on Christian faith and ethics, as well as social democratic ideas, and aims to clarify and strengthen the Christian group within the labor movement. It brings together members from various denominations, as well as people without affiliation to any church or congregation.
The organization organizes national meetings and conferences to discuss topics related to faith, solidarity and current social issues. Christian Workers engages in debates about freedom of belief and gender-blind studies, and emphasizes the preservation of heart and faith in challenging times. Through their activities, they offer platforms for the exchange of opinions and networking among members, with a focus on the positive meaning Christian faith and values have for both the individual and society.
