A-Senteret, affiliated with the Church's Bymission, offers services for people with drug problems. The center has a wide range of treatment options, including assessment, investigation and outpatient treatment. There is also available short-term inpatient treatment which lasts approximately four months, as well as long-term inpatient treatment which extends over nine to twelve months. The target group is primarily people over the age of 18 with alcohol-related addiction problems.
In addition to treatment services, the A-Senteret offers emergency accommodation and various support measures for people in crisis. The center also has legal aid available for those who need legal assistance related to drug problems. As part of the Church's City Mission, the A-Center focuses on supporting socially vulnerable groups and contributing to a better quality of life for its users.
