Fyrlyset is a treatment center for people with drug addiction, located in Oslo. The center offers a range of services that are adapted to the needs of drug addicts, with a focus on both spiritual and practical aspects. Guests can participate in devotionals that include intercessory prayer and song, and discussion groups are held after these devotions to foster fellowship and support.
In addition to the spiritual offerings, Fyrlyset has monthly user forums that provide the opportunity for participation from the participants. The center also offers activities such as weekly football training in the summer, as well as practical services such as showers, clothing distribution and hairdressing services one day a week. Food and drink are also available throughout opening hours, as well as the possibility to borrow a telephone and computer. Volunteers contribute to the running of the centre, and are open on Sundays and public holidays.
