The women's collective Arken is a 24-hour institution that specializes in the treatment of drug addiction for women. With 31 years of experience, the institution has developed a treatment program that focuses on providing security, honesty and love to its patients. The target group is women over the age of 23 who struggle with serious substance abuse, and the treatment also takes into account complex problems such as mental disorders and addiction.
Arken has a short waiting time for treatment and has achieved a high completion rate, with 70% between 2014 and 2016. The institution is recognized as one of the leaders in substance abuse treatment for women in Health Norway, and has repeatedly been ranked among the ten best treatment centers in Norway based on patient satisfaction. According to user surveys, 65% of those treated are drug-free today, which indicates a positive effect of the treatment.
