Paul-Erik Gulliksrud is a psychologist with over 20 years' experience in psychology, and has had his own practice since 2003. He specializes in cognitive therapy and has experience in treating anxiety, depression, trauma (PTSD), self-esteem, stress and relationships. Gulliksrud emphasizes open and safe conversations, and adapts the therapy to the client's needs and preferences. He uses various methods, including metacognitive therapy, psychodeduction, mindfulness, emotion-focused therapy and positive psychology.
Gulliksrud has a 6-year professional education from the University of Oslo, specializing in cognitive therapy. He has worked in mental health care and psychiatry since 1997, and has gained extensive experience from several psychiatric institutions. He is a member of the Norwegian Association for Cognitive Therapy and the Norwegian Psychological Association. In addition to therapy sessions, he offers homework assignments, forms, tests, videos and articles to support his clients' development.
