The Norwegian Farmers' Association in Oslo (BUL) was founded on 15 October 1899 and functions as an activity and cultural heritage organisation. The organization is open to anyone who wants to participate, and offers a varied program of activities such as folk dancing, sports, choral singing, theater and painting. BUL has a long history with a focus on culture and community engagement, and has achieved recognition in both culture and sport, including by winning four medals during the National Championships in Askøy and setting a Norwegian senior record in the relay (4x200m).

The organization also has an active contribution to the local community and youth work. In 1913, BUL built the Peasants' House in Rosenkrantz' gate 8, which houses both the administration and the Theater Hall. In this building there are also Hotell Bondeheimen, Kaffistova, Heimen Husfliden and Solhjell, all of which are owned by BUL. Recently, the team has gained four new honorary members, and memorial words have also been written for well-known members such as Olaf Almenningen and Tormod Indrehus Bønes.
