The Professional Council for Wet Rooms is an independent and multidisciplinary member organization whose aim is to promote optimal solutions for wet rooms. The organization offers comprehensive information on bathroom renovations, as well as guidance on current laws and regulations relating to wet rooms. The professional council also presents the Wet Room Standard, which is a standard for quality and safety in wet room work.
In addition to providing information, the Trade Council for Wet Rooms has a list of approved wet room companies (GVB), which gives consumers the opportunity to find qualified actors. The organization organizes courses for professionals to ensure they are up to date with the latest standards and requirements. The professional council also participates in events such as Norwegian Water Damage Day, and offers agreements for the use of Byggvarens Nasjonale (BVN). Mandatory updating of Module C for professionals is part of their offer to ensure continuous skills development.
