Fellesforbundet is Norway's largest trade union in the private sector, with over 170,000 members. The union organizes workers in a number of industries, including industry, the construction industry, hotels and restaurants, transport and the car industry. Fellesforbundet is the second largest union in the National Organization (LO) and has its head office in Oslo.
The union works to improve working conditions, including wages and working conditions. It has entered into collective agreements with more than 6,000 companies and offers courses and events for its members. The joint union also has a professional shop steward program and actively participates in pension and salary settlements.
