Fjellinjen AS is an organization whose main task is to finance future traffic solutions in Greater Oslo. Since its inception in 1990, the company has managed more than NOK 50 billion, and registers over one million crossings at 83 toll stations every day. The tolls collected are used for various projects such as the Fortress Tunnel and the Fornebubanen, as well as for improvements to roads, public transport, cycle paths and urban spaces in Oslo and Viken.
The organization offers exemption from toll payment to holders of HC cards, diplomats and emergency vehicles. In addition, Fjellinjen has developed a toll calculator that enables users to calculate costs associated with toll crossings.
