Framfylkingen is a children's and family organization associated with LO, with a focus on children's rights and the Convention on the Rights of the Child. The organization has a long tradition of giving children a voice, including through the event Children's Appeal on 1 May, where children give speeches on important social issues. In 2024, Framfylkingen celebrates its 90th anniversary, which marks a significant milestone in their work.
The organization runs active local team work and gets involved in the local environment, with approximately 30 local teams spread across the country. Framfylkingen offers resources and support to children's and family organisations, and works to create leisure activities for children, young people and families. In addition, they have a focus on outdoor life, and emphasize teaching children to appreciate and take care of nature.
