Funksjonshemmedes Fellesorganisaison (FFO) is an organization that works for a free and equal society for people with disabilities. With a membership of 400,000, FFO mobilizes for rights and works to promote equality in work, education and municipal services. The organization has a long history, and turns 75 years old, with development from the National Committee to a community that represents various interest groups.
FFO has achieved several important victories for disabled people in Norway and focuses on the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. In addition, they arrange seminars such as "User's voice in New methods 2025", where they discuss and develop new approaches to improve the quality of life for their members. Through its work, FFO contributes to increased awareness and change in society around the rights of people with disabilities.
