Gamle Munch is a multi-purpose building that functions as a cultural center for art, culture and neighborhood activities. The center has been in operation since 2022 and offers a varied program of exhibitions, concerts and performances. In addition to events, painting classes for adults and a language café for immigrants are offered, which contributes to an inclusive environment.
The coffee bar in the venue gives visitors the opportunity to relax between activities. All exhibitions have free entry, making them accessible to a wide audience. In the period from August to December 2022, parts of the building have been available for rent by the city's cultural actors, as well as office space for local associations. This initiative is part of the centre's aim to promote cultural activity and cooperation in the area until 2025.
