The National Organization in Norway (LO) is Norway's largest workers' organization, with over one million members. The organisation's aim is to ensure safe and fair pay and working conditions for its members. LO has an extensive network of shop stewards, with around 60,000 people who actively support members in their working lives.
LO works with a number of socially relevant topics, including equality, housing policy and sickness absence. The organization also organizes various conferences and events, such as the aviation conference, to promote discussions and cooperation on important issues. In addition, LO offers a benefit program called LOfavør, which gives members access to various services and discounts. One of the physical meeting points is the People's Corner, a visitor center that gives an insight into the organisation's work and values.
