Norges Farmaceutiske Forening, also known as Farmaceutene, is a trade and professional association for pharmacists in Norway. The association was established on 2 November 1858, which makes it the country's oldest trade union. It aims to organize and represent a large proportion of pharmacists, as well as to offer membership to students and pensioners within the profession.
The association offers a range of services, including legal help and advice in employment law and wages. It organizes courses and seminars for professional development, and focuses on important social issues, such as drug problems and violence in pharmacies. The pharmacists actively participate in discussions about these topics and publish reports and consultation statements to contribute to the debate. In addition, the association celebrates the pharmacist of the year and holds regional forums to strengthen the community among members.
