Norges Hundekjørerforbund is an organization that works to promote and develop dog sledding as an inclusive sport. The association organizes various activities, including the Speed & Skill Cup, and offers courses in long-distance dog sledding. Emphasis is also placed on providing support schemes for clubs and athletes, as well as evaluating the bare ground season and handing out bare ground awards.
The organization has an active youth committee that focuses on engaging young people in dog sledding. In addition to courses and activities for both new and experienced dog handlers, the association has a strong focus on animal welfare and ethics. Norway's Hundejørerforbund also participates in international activities within dog sledding, which helps to strengthen the network and expertise in the sport.
