The Norwegian Motorsport Federation (NMF) is an organization whose purpose is to organize and facilitate motorsport activity in Norway. The association is associated with the Norwegian Sports Confederation and the Olympic Committee as well as the Paralympic Committee. NMF represents several sports, including boating, motorbikes, radio-controlled motorsports and snowmobiles, and is responsible for both elite sports and grassroots sports, as well as children's and youth sports.
The association offers licenses to motorsport athletes and arranges courses and training in various aspects of motorsport. NMF also has a club shop that offers equipment and clothing to members. In addition, they publish news stories about motorsport activities and collect results and timetables for events. NMF focuses on promoting joy, curiosity, courage and generosity in sport, as well as supporting clubs and athletes in the development of motorsport in Norway. The organization also plays an active role in promoting traffic safety and maritime safety, as well as looking after organized tours.
