The Norwegian Actors' Association is an interest organization and trade union that represents professional actors in Norway. The association is party-politically independent and works to safeguard the actors' artistic, financial and legal interests. It is the only trade union that exclusively organizes actors, and offers a platform for members to share experiences and support each other.
The association negotiates collective bargaining and remuneration agreements, and offers member benefits such as discounts and various support schemes. In addition, the Norwegian Actors' Association has a focus on promoting theater and drama as subjects in schools. The Amanda prize is awarded annually, which honors outstanding achievements in film and theatre, and helps to shine a spotlight on the acting profession in Norway.
