The Norwegian Transport Workers' Union (NTF) is Norway's largest trade union within the private sector, with over 170,000 members. The union represents workers who work in transport and logistics, and works to improve working conditions, wages and rights for its members. NTF has entered into collective agreements with more than 6,000 companies, which helps to ensure good working conditions in the industry.
The association also offers courses and events for shop stewards, and has an active role in informing about news relating to collective agreements and wage settlements. Members of the NTF also have representation in the Storting, which gives them a voice in political issues concerning working life. In addition, NTF focuses on pension rights, and provides support and help to members when necessary.
