Norwegian YMCA-YWCA Scouts is an organization that offers a varied range of activities for children and young people. With a focus on outdoor life, cooperation and friendship, Scouting gives participants opportunities to take part in activities such as canoeing, treasure hunting and climbing. The organization is open to all age groups, and from the age of 17 you can become a scout leader. This gives both experienced and new participants the chance to get involved in Scouting.
The activity bank of the Norwegian YMCA-YWCA Scouts provides resources for planning meetings and events, and emphasizes personal development and good memories for the participants. The scout groups have meetings about once a week for children and young people aged six and over, and many groups also offer family scouts for families with small children. Through scouting, the participants get the opportunity to develop as active and responsible fellow human beings.
