Rettspolittik Forening is a voluntary and party-politically independent organization that originates in Oslo. The association consists of jurists, lawyers and students in legal subjects, and aims to defend and develop the rule of law and welfare law values. Through its work, the association contributes to promoting the position of human rights in Norway and works to improve the legal position of exposed and vulnerable groups.
The association organizes annual activities such as "Legal policy fad" and autumn seminar, where participants can take part in discussions and lectures on current legal policy topics. Members get access to monthly newsletters that keep them up to date on the association's activities and relevant matters within legal policy.
