Romano Kher is a Roma culture and resource center located in Oslo. The centre's aim is to promote Roma culture and offer resources to the local community. Various cultural activities are organised, such as culture days, film and storytelling evenings, which give an insight into Romani tradition and history.
In addition to cultural events, Romano Kher offers leisure activities for children and young people, including homework help. The center also has a boys' team in collaboration with football club Sterling, as well as a girls' group that participates in varied activities. There are also opportunities for the production of TV, short films, podcasts and music in the studio. The center also marks International Roma Day on 8 April each year, as part of its work to raise awareness of Roma culture and rights.
