Yrkestrafikkforbundet (YTF) is a nationwide trade union that represents the professional transport industry in Norway, with a membership of approximately 13,000 people. The members work in several sectors, including bus, freight, warehouse and logistics, as well as taxi, tow truck, site transport and environmental transport. YTF is part of the Central Confederation of Trade Unions (YS), which brings together several trade unions in various occupational groups.
The association offers membership with a focus on industry-specific benefits, and informs members about collective agreements that can lead to significant wage jumps. YTF also organizes national meetings which give members the opportunity to influence the association's direction and build networks. Trude Sande is the first female union leader in the organisation's history, which marks an important step in the union's development.
