The Norwegian Film School Oslo, which is part of Høgskolen i Innlandet, offers education in film production with a focus on artistic development work and research. The school has received recognition in the film industry, including by being awarded the Nordisk Film prize for its importance. It has also been nominated for the Gullruten award for best production design for the project "Harald & Sonja".

In addition to the main education, The Norwegian Film School offers courses and further education in various aspects of film production. The students come from different backgrounds and contribute different perspectives on film and sound design, which enriches the learning environment. The school also focuses on current topics, as demonstrated at the premiere of Cinema Synthetica 2.0, which deals with artificial intelligence in film.
