Escuela de Basquet was founded on 28 April 1967 and is one of the oldest basketball clubs in Oslo. The club has approximately 230 active players, making it one of the largest basketball clubs in the city. The men's team competes in the 1st division and has had a number of achievements, including victory in both the playoffs and the series in 2002. In addition, the men's team has participated in the BLNO season.
The women's team has also been active and has played in regional 1. The club has its home ground at Persbråten upper secondary school. The kit colors are white for home matches and red for away matches, which contributes to the club's identity and belonging in the local environment.
