Christian Independent Schools' Association is an interest organization that represents close to 150 Christian independent schools. The association works to improve the financial, administrative and political framework conditions for these schools. Through close contact with national authorities and politicians, they seek to influence decision-making processes that affect the independent school sector.
The organization offers advice on regulations, grant schemes and school development, and arranges courses and conferences that can contribute to raising competence among schools. The Association of Christian Free Schools also assists in the development of the schools, with a focus on clarifying their Christian profile. In addition, they operate the internal control system IK-friskole, which is used by many of the members to ensure quality and compliance with current regulations.
