The school is located in a residential area with close access to Østmarka and has room for approximately 500 pupils, divided into two parallels in grades 1-7 and three parallels in grades 8-10. The building was completely rehabilitated in 2010, but has been in operation since 1975. The school has a staff of 75 employees.
The school offers several services such as activity school with free after-school services, as well as outdoor school for 3rd grade every Wednesday. Sami education, school health services and a school dentist are also available. To ensure a good learning environment, student surveys are carried out, and there is a collaboration between home and school.
